Prior to the mass acceptance of Facebook and MySpace, us web developers had to write our own personal blogs and media galleries. My personal home page, which would later become the Actieve Cloud infrastructure for designing and developing web applications on the cloud was ahead of its time. It contains dynamically built objects based on meta data setup by site administrators. Much like what SalesForce.com came up with years later for their CRM package, the system allows you to design and develop data objects without actually ever touching a database.

The system was built on the original DotNet framework and has been updated to DotNet 2.0. It runs on dynamically built SQL Server tables.
